Stat-X First Responder® Test

Get Certified

Please complete the following test based on your Stat-X First Responder® training (with the material provided on our website). You must earn a score of 90% or better in order to be considered successfully trained on the product. Passing this test is a mandatory requirement before you are able to start using the Stat-X First Responders®. Log-in or Register to begin taking the training test.


1. Register for a new account by clicking on the register link below

2. Create a Username (First Name and Last Name) and submit a valid e-mail address. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you with a password for you to sign-in to your account. Click the link in the e-mail to navigate to your new profile.

3. Enter the following information on your profile page: First Name, Last Name, E-mail. Make sure in the ‘Biographical Info’ section to put down your Department and Position (All information is kept confidential), and then click save. — If you are not redirected directly to your profile page, click on the tab in the top left of the toolbar on the site to get there.

4. Click on ‘My Exams’ in the top left and take the Stat-X First Responder® Training Test, or navigate back to this page and take the exam

More Information

Most vessel fires begin in small compartments containing numerous obstructions, making firefighting difficult. Because marine fires can be catastrophic, it’s important to suppress the fire before it escalates, causing costly or irreparable damage—or worse—serious injury or fatalities. The Stat-X First Responder can be used in engine compartments and for bilge fires (activates under water). With storage being limited on ships, the Stat-X First Responder proves convenient with its light, compact size, weighing in just over 2 pounds. It is 90% lighter than alternative suppression systems. Also, the container is non-corrosive, and leaves behind minimal residue after discharge.
