More Information

Most vessel fires begin in small compartments containing numerous obstructions, making firefighting difficult. Because marine fires can be catastrophic, it’s important to extinguish the fire before it escalates, causing costly or irreparable damage—or worse—serious injury or fatalities. The Stat-X First Responder can be used in engine compartments, with shipboard fires, for bilge fires (activates under water), and before hoses are in place. With storage being limited on ships, the Stat-X First Responder proves convenient with its light, compact size, weighing in just over 2 pounds. It is 90% lighter than alternative suppression systems. Also, the container is non-corrosive, non-conductive, and leaves behind minimal residue after discharge.
